MCT Trails Closures and Construction

MCT Nickel Plate Trail

Starting Monday, September 16, Nickel Plate Trail will be closed from Franklin Ave to Edwardsville Junction for repairs to the landscape around the area. For the safety of everyone, please avoid this section of the trail.

MCT Quercus Grove Trail

Crews will be performing inspections along the Quercus Grove Trail between Old Carpenter Road and Jerusalem Road and between Sweeny Street and Spangle Road starting Monday, September 16th. Duration will be approximately 4 weeks. For your safety, please use caution when using these sections of the trail.

MCT Nature Trail

IDOT will be doing repairs to the IL 111 bridge over the MCT Nature Trail starting September 3, 2024. The trail will need to be temporarily closed at times. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail.

MCT Nature Trail

The MCT Nature Trail will be closed at the Esic Drive crossing for reconstruction of the road. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail during the closure.
